Making a purchase
- Just browse our website and add any item you wish to buy into your shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details we need to be able to satisfy the order.
- We use Paypal to process all our website payments. We currently can accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Switch, Solo, American Express, Visa Delta and Visa Electron.
- All orders placed are accepted subject to availability.
Prices and delivery charges
- The price of goods is that quoted on the website at the time you place the order, subject to any inadvertent technical or obvious error for which we will not be liable.
- The price of goods does not include a charge for delivery which is itemised separately.
- Our standard delivery charge for UK locations is £8.00 for orders up to £80. Orders for over £80 are delivered free.
- Back orders: If your item is not in stock we will back order for you, and let you know by email. You will have the option to cancel the order if you would rather not wait.
- Please note that the box prices generated by the site are only guide prices. The actual prices payable are calculated by reference to the weight of the meat supplied and the price per kg quoted for the box. You will never be charged more than the item price stated even if the weight of the item is higher than the weight estimated but that, if the weight comes in below the estimated weight, then there will be a pro rata reduction.
Delivery timing and method
- We aim to deliver all orders within a week or two of your order being placed. If you require speedier delivery, please contact us and we will do our best to assist.
- Your goods will be delivered by a delivery method of our own choice to the address specified by you when you order as long as it is on the UK mainland.
- We use our best endeavour to ensure that deliveries are made as requested but it would be helpful if you would ensure someone is present when delivery takes place or else give appropriate directions for where goods should be left. If you are not at home to receive the goods, they will be left in accordance with any reasonable instructions. In the absence of such instructions then goods will be left at the carrier's discretion in a suitable location or with a neighbour.
- We cannot accept liability for theft, damage or loss of part or all of a delivery if you are not there in person and we have complied with our stated policy.
- All meat is vacuum-packed, weighed, labelled and delivered in insulated boxes
Warranty and Liability
- We will not be deemed to be in breach of contract or of these terms and conditions as a result of any delay in our performance or failure to perform our obligations if that delay or failure to perform is due to any cause beyond our reasonable control.
- Our maximum liability arising out of any order for the supply of goods will be limited to the sale price of the goods contained in that order.
- Nothing in these terms and conditions will restrict our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence nor will any of these terms restrict any of your statutory rights.
